Fox News Channel host Tucker Carlson closed out television’s second quarter with one for the record books: his Tucker Carlson Tonight finished the quarter as the highest-rated program in all of cable news for the first time since the show’s launch, delivering an average total audience of 4.331 million viewers. In the process, Carlson broke a record held by his colleague, Sean Hannity, for the highest-rated quarter of any cable news program—ever.

It was a solid quarter for the network, which finished in first place across all of cable television for the first time in the network’s history, beating out all basic cable networks among total viewers and viewers 25-54, the demographic group most valued by national advertisers.

Some of those advertisers announced during the quarter that they would pull advertising from Carlson’s show after remarks the host made about the Black Lives Matter movement, but FNC viewers did not follow suit, instead lifting Tucker Carlson Tonight to a record high, breaking a previous record set in the first quarter of 2020 by FNC’s Hannity.

It's hilarious and yet sad to see people buy into the pundits like they have some kind of knowledge. They deliver the exact same news they just do it in a more psychological warfare manner. I rarely watch Tucker Carlson's Show. However, on those occasions when I DO watch, he seems to present opinions that are laced with references to facts and sourced to real world actions- often videos.

During the "mostly peaceful demonstrations" that produced dead and dying across the country, he showed a very disturbing video montage showing the thugs attacking their victims and leaving crippled victims.

In 2006 & 2009 he spoke about 13 year old boys having sex with their teachers and 14 year old girls having lesbian lovers. In 2014 he went on Fox News to continue advocating for sex with minors. In 2017 he had an interview with Gavin McInnes where he repeated himself, this time talking of 15 year olds. And of course, this is only a cursory glance at his statements. It is very likely that more interviews and statements will appear in the future related to this topic.

Tucker Carlson is a rape apologist. Children cannot consent, but as Tucker says, his best friend had a relationship with a teacher, so its okay. Meanwhile his friends on the right like Gavin McInnes and Ben Shapiro either ignore or completely support his statements. Though in my view, ignoring these statements is akin to support, so they're one and the same.
