Well, what president removed the clauses that made news report both sides and fairly?

First of all, the news in the US has never been "unbiased." You ought to read some of the articles about Lincoln's assassination if you don't believe me.
Second, Donald Trump is a lying, corrupt sack of shit who deserves to be called out for his numerous lies. You don't get to call journalists liars simply for debunking Trump's nonsense.

news: "Trump lied people died" -US news is just a propaganda arm of the DemsDr. Deborah Birx , Dr. Anthony Fauci and Dr. Scott Gottlieb have not faulted the Trump administration's overall COVID-19 response.
They attribute any shortcomings to initial global ignorance about the origins and nature of the epidemic, incompetence at the World Health Organization, or the initial inability of bureaucracies to produce easily available and reliable test kits.
Fox is ‘hard’ right lol?
There is no hard right major outlet. Fox’s lead man, Chris Wallace, can’t stand Trump. Brit Hume is an old school garden variety conservative that passed on the Never Trump bandwagon. We/they have even lost judge Nappy. There is one[1] hard righty on Fox—Hannity.
Bret Baier is right-ish but he at least tries to be impartial in his roll.
Tucker Carlson makes his loving speaking out against the lefties nonsense that dominates the other cable news outlets. And he’s living handsomely doing it.
Coup has started. First of many steps. Impeachment will follow ultimately~WB attorney Mark Zaid, January 2017
And that same study explains why Trump received the negative coverage:
"So why is Trump’s coverage so negative even though he does most of the talking? The fact is, he’s been on the defensive during most of his 100 days in office, trying to put the best face possible on executive orders, legislative initiatives, appointments, and other undertakings that have gone bad. Even Fox has not been able to save him"
Fox is to the right what MSNBC is to the left, they are the same, both created to tell a select audience what they want to hear
And Fox's prime time demogogues aren't left or right, they go where the money is, which today means supporting Trump 100% regardless of what he says or does, Hannity even campaigns for him
