Secondly, Republicans did exactly what Joe Biden said should be done when a vacancy occurred during an election year.

I notice you removed the context because you wanted to "argue" with some non existent point I made.

The reality is, months before a Presidential election is a short time to nominate somebody new, and if I were a Republican in that Senate I would have done the same thing, and the reality is if the tables were turned, Biden himself had already argued the same thing... Seriously. Read about it.

Anyway, this will refocus this election on something that matters.

There is a huge difference between nominating someone a year before the election, and nominating someone AFTER the election that was lost.
