This is the exact original study cited:

    https://social-epistemology.com/2020...naomi-oreskes/

It offers exactly ZERO statistical or measurable proof, instead being a rather lengthy screed against the idea there is liberal bias in universities. It makes lots of citations to previous work--92 end notes to be exact--but offers little in analysis other than opinion.

    The CV of the authors

She's a radical Leftist who specializes in championing climate change while he's a big time LGBTPDQRTU advocate. They are caught in an echo chamber that biases their work so badly it hurts.

Notice that competently run suburban and rural America aren't experiencing these problems, because they are run more Republican.
That letter on the city door has nothing to do with it. These protests have been happening countrywide and the label on the door changes nothing. You don't have issues rural because there are hardly enough people and those that are there tend to travel to the population or state government centers of the state. When the Michigan COVID lockdown babies protested they didn't stick around in the backcountry to protest either. There's no one to protest against in these places. A demonstration would have a near-empty stage. City center is where you protest, it's where people and government are. I see enough of both sides in our area just reading bumper stickers. Plenty who would protest somewhere else.
