Even though I’m a huge college football fan I don’t have much interest in reading a 112 page document.

98% lose money, but what about the 2% that make money?

If a football program makes $2.5 million for a school that has 50,000 students, that is $50 per student. I reassure you that the vending machines are more of a profit engine for such a school.

If a student is only going to school for the football, my guess is that later on in life, they will not have much money to donate to the school.

Not everything is black and white. People choose schools for many reasons and big time athletics and school atmosphere play a role. And football plays a big role in people donating to their schools.
