Reuters) - Coronavirus vaccines being developed in China may be ready for use by the general public as early as November, an official with the Chinese Center for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) said.

China has four COVID-19 vaccines in the final stage of clinical trials. At least three of those have already been offered to essential workers under an emergency use programme launched in July.

Russia announced a COVID vaccine about a month ago. I havent looked further at their numbers.

The only RCT’s available in this this short of time would be for straight up immunity to COVID infection. There’s no way of knowing it’s efficacy over the long haul because the long haul hasn’t happened.

That’s not even getting into long haul side effects. I won’t take a vaccine for COVID. If one was approved by our government I would probably be forced to take it to keep the job—I used to have lol.

It is, but that’s a long drawn out process. They’ll have to ‘bend some rules’ to approve a vaccine this quick.
