Yeah so what? I had it and puked one night. I've known others that had no symptoms. What difference does it make if you had it or not?
Should I get a t-shirt saying I somehow survived the dreaded coronavirus?

Apparently it did to you when you suggested I could have and not known it before knowing all the information about me being tested.

What you should do is not run your dick sucker about someone else before knowing all the information. It prevents you from looking like a fool and having to play it off.

Apparently it did to you too. Why else would you get tested for antibodies?

I had ‘something’ around the turn of the year. Probably called off one or two days but I don’t remember for sure. It was respiratory but not enough to put me down. Never thought much about it except the near 30 bucks I spent on a bottle of Mucinex but that fixed me. It ended with mild lower GI distress and went away.

For all I know I might have had it.

I see. You think it was my choice to be tested.

I've heard similar stories from lots of others. Just knowing I had it only annoys me more about the hysteria. Much ado about not much. Live your life at your own risk. Otherwise don't drive, don't drink alcohol, eat pizza, dont do extreme sports like whitewater kayaking, etc. "Dying ain't much of a living.".

For antibodies , yes. Nobody is required to be tested for antibodies.
If you were tested involuntarily it was for the active virus. You do understand the difference between antibodies and viruses I hope. If not I'll explain. It's very simple.

    This is what we need:

"They’re calling it a potential game-changer in the country’s fight against the coronavirus, which until now has relied on a patchwork array of tests that take days to return, can only be performed by medical professionals and are generally expensive.

Amy Drexelius is a graduate student at UC and helped design the new point-of-care devices, which work similarly to a pregnancy test, where a pink line indicates a person is positive for the virus.

Drexelius says the device was developed with influenza in mind and that it has not been used to test for the coronavirus specifically. Still, she and her fellow researchers say it should be able to do just that.

“We’re really confident that it could work for coronavirus like influenza,” she said. “The coronavirus is an upper-respiratory infection. You can find a lot of the virus in your nasal-pharyngeal passages. That’s why they usually make a swab to get a sample. So, we’re confident that you can use similar methods to concentrate the coronavirus like you would with influenza. So this device would work for both of them.”

Drexelius says this is a major breakthrough."

New tech can offer rapid at-home COVID-19 test, UC researchers say

The government needs to make these things free and widely available.

If everybody could simply test themselves and know if they are contagious or not then they would know if they should isolate or if it would be safe to go out into society.

If we could get everyone to be conscientious about this, masks and distancing would no longer be needed for the general public. (but of course we know that will never happen)

The only problem is everyone's health depends on the responsibility of others.

Ya know what makes a nation great?

A nation would be really great if everybody was responsible.

It is the irresponsible people that destroy civility.

We can hardly hope to create a society of responsible people as long as we have an irresponsible leader.

    First things first..

Vote Joe Biden President of the United States.

Guess you're another one that thinks he knows more about someone's personal situation than the person himself.

I completely understand the difference between the two. Do we work for the same employer?

Now why the fuck would your employer require you to be tested for antibodies and not the actual virus? It's becoming apparent you really don't know the difference between the two.

It's been apparent that you think it's your place to determine what someone else requires and does when it comes to THEIR business.

They made the decision and I doubt they give a fuck what you think, son.

So you admit you were tested for the virus and not the antibodies. As I thought. You really don't know the difference. Boy. You have no idea if you ever had covid.

Not at all, boy. If you want to pretend you know more about my personal situation than I do, go ahead. It's your choice to act on the low level as the average 85 IQ black.
