Kalifornia refugees or not, the "blue" in Texas is from the cities. Houston being the main culprit, but also the DFW metroplex. Texas may go "blue" for the election since it's a binary choice, but I doubt it'll be trading in it's Republican state and federal officials for Democrats any time soon.

Well, the righties here were crowing about a close poll in NY (LOL) recently.
So, I guess it evens out. But TX is definitely shifting. Still GOP this cycle - but it will be purple & a swing state soon.
