California is a third world state solely because they force themselves to live in a sweaty hellhole with rolling blackouts.
Excellence is an art won by training and habituation. We do not act rightly because we have virtue or excellence, but rather we have those because we have acted rightly. We are what we repeatedly do. Excellence, then, is not an act but a habit.

Believe nothing on the faith of traditions, even though they have been held in honor for many generations and in diverse places. Do not believe a thing because many people speak of it. Do not believe on the faith of the sages of the past. Do not believe what you yourself have imagined, persuading yourself that a God inspires you. Believe nothing on the sole authority of your masters and priests. After examination, believe what you yourself have tested and found to be reasonable, and conform your conduct thereto.

I'm sure a few people here and there have set forest fires in every state. People do stupid things. But if you think that's evidence that all of these California forest fires were all started by Democrats as part of some strange conspiracy, well, that would explain why you're still on disability.

As usual you lack basic reading and comprehension skills. I stated, correctly, that arsonists have been arrested in California for starting some of those fires. I also stated, correctly, that there is a good chance they are Democrats. Both of those truths proving you wrong. Which is nothing new. And I am not on disability as you well know from the last ass kicking you got lying about that. So once again, have you found a job yet? Apparently not. And I bet you are still wondering why.

You can divide tech companies into three roughly equal groups. There is Silicon Valley, the rest of America, and the rest of the world. In terms of technology, California is a good third of the world.

You can divide entertainment into three roughly equal groups. There is Hollywood...

You get the point. California is crucial to America's economy in multiple ways.

That's like saying it doesn't matter that China has "reeducation camps" where folks are imprisoned because they make lots of stuff important to Americans.

It doesn't change at all what I said, they choose to live like a third world nation making their own state a sweaty hellhole with "iffy" electricity. Just because some rich folks live there doesn't change the facts any more than it makes China less totalitarian because Apple builds crap there.

The local, state, and federal police have all denied your claims. There have been a few arsonists claimed, but they have not been linked to either BLM or Proud Boys. Most fires are accidents, and the arsonists so far caught are mostly accidental arsonists, with none connected to anything political.

It is odd how when there is a Democrat in the White House, California has no blackouts. It almost as if Republicans are intentionally crapping on the interstate electrical system.

China is having trouble moving from assembling things to designing things, because to really innovate with design requires some level of freedom. California has the right mix of freedom, education, and critical mass to be a real home of innovation.

Nonsense, who is in the WH has little to do with their choice to suck at power. Remember when Brown told us they were going to "show us all how it was done"?... Well, apparently it is done with craptacular fail. California chooses to live in a third world intermittent electricity sweaty hellhole and keeps electing the folks that put them there so it has to be by choice.

Silicon valley is just a collection of companies that run websites and produce software. The technology to do that is produced somewhere else. In the US that is usually Arizona or Texas.

This is where the chips Silicon valley uses come from (at least in good part):

That's Intel's Chandler AZ plant. When Intel was looking for a location to build it, they told California's government the equivalent of "Fuck off we're not putting it in your useless state!"

You can divide entertainment into three roughly equal groups. There is Hollywood...
Not any more. Hollyweird is leaving for greener pastures. Their California studios are becoming little more than overpriced theme parks.

    https://variety.com/2014/film/news/e...ey-1201125523/

Why? Because the state of California has made it prohibitively expensive to make movies there. As if that wasn't enough, the environmental laws there make it impossible to do much in the way of explosions, fires, using tricked out vehicles, etc. Hell, they can't even use solvent based rubber cement anymore there...

You get the point. California is crucial to America's economy in multiple ways.
You get the point. California is becoming less and less critical to America's economy as business flees the state for elsewhere. It won't happen overnight. Michigan didn't see the auto industry leave all at once either. It took many decades for it to bail. But it did. Same with California. Back in the 40's through the 70's California was home to most of the US's aircraft industry. That's virtually all gone now except for a bit of R & D that doesn't heavily rely on actually making anything... It'll be several decades to come before California is truly hit, but it's coming...

And yet almost all of Intel's design happens California, so not so useless.

Not true. Most of that is done in Chandler as well.

They smartly co-located the designers with the manufacturing plant so problems could be handled quickly.
