NEW "POLITICAL THRILLER" FILM DUE TO COME OUT IN OCTOBER 2020 SHOULD BE GREAT !!

There is a film being completed now by US film-maker, Amanda Milius that is scheduled for release in America this October. The movie is called "The Plot against the President" and is based on the bestselling book of the same name written by investigative journalist, Lee Smith and published last year.





Lee Smith's book "The Plot against the President" is the true story of how one man, Congressman Devin Nunes uncovered the "Obamagate" Deep State plot to bring down President Donald Trump (and, indeed, the United States itself !). I think every American should read this book because it clearly sets out the truth of just how close the United States came to the edge of the abyss in 2016, 2017 and 2018. Were it not for the vigilance and courage of one decent man, the coup against the President and the American people would have succeeded. I have always taken it for granted that politicians of whatever stripe are not the most morally upstanding individuals; they tend to tells lots of lies, are egoists, are largely unprincipled, and they will do almost anything for power. Some are better than others; Richard Nixon, for instance, if he had not had the misfortune to become embroiled in "Watergate", would be remembered today as a great POTUS who chalked up some big achievements for America and the world during his time in office; whereas Barack Obama was simply a smarmy, treacherous, socialist rat, who achieved nothing of note over his 8 years in the White House (except stirring up racial strife/hatred through his Marxist Identity Politics agenda). Anyway, as I say, Devin Nunes is that rare breed: a politician who is also a man of moral integrity, more than that he is a real-life hero, though most Americans will never know the debt they owe him. (On a personal note, I have to thank Devin Nunes because he has restored my faith in human nature - which was hanging by a thread !).





It was Devin Nunes (a Republican) who led the charge in Congress, fighting to debunk the Democrats allegations that the Trump Campaign had colluded with Russia, and digging away until he found out the truth about the bogus "Steele Dossier" (paid for by Hillary Clinton and the DNC that was the foundation of the entire "Obamagate" scandal) and the FBI's using it to obtain secret spy (FISA) warrants on Donald Trump's campaign and Carter Page (a Trump campaign worker). I thought to myself, this guy has really got some balls calling out what we now refer to "Obamagate" and the bad actors who were part of the plot. There were a lot of powerful people involved in "Obamagate", a lot of bad guys with lots of influence who could go for Nunes neck including the mainstream media, who were very much a part of the coup attempt.( I'm surprised, in fact, that Nunes is still walking around in good health !) Nunes would have known this quite early in the picture, yet he still put his head "above the parapet" and cried foul purely as a matter of principle - even his own party didn't believe what he was alleging for quite some time. So, given this,, I was interested to know what Devin Nunes background was, and it turns out that before he went into politics, he was a dairy farmer in a rural county in California. It was a family business started up by his grandfather in the rural county of Tulane, and Nunes worked as a dairy farmer until he entered politics at the age of 30. When I learned this, I understood why Devin Nunes was man who singlehandedly took on the rotten Democrats in the House, because I am very much an agrarian, like Thomas Jefferson was. Jefferson strongly believed that men who worked the land: "yeoman farmers, planters and plain rural farmfolk" all placed a premium on "opposing corruption and promoting virtue." Jefferson always hated big cities and advised people to avoid them because the many bankers, financiers, lawyers and industrialists who worked in them made them "cesspools of corruption" (Jefferson would just love DC in 2020 ) There has always been an agrarian philosophy that teaches how the cultivation of the land and a simple life in the country (in rural environments) is a positive spiritual good The humbler farmer is in direct contact with nature and through nature is in a closer relationship with God (that is an example of an argument the old agrarian philosophers made). And due to this closer connection with God, the farmer acquires the virtues of: honor; manliness; self-reliance; courage; moral integrity and hospitality. There is certainly something in this claim, because if you happen to know any real farmfolk you will agree that they are almost always very decent people, who DO possess the kind of virtues I just mentioned.





Getting back to Lee Smith's book "The Plot against the President", it should be placed on the required reading list for every high School senior because it shows just how vulnerable the Liberty they enjoy as Americans really is, it shows how a small cabal of bad actors can, indeed, bring down their government without firing a shot.





Lee Smith's book makes "Watergate" look like the non-event that it was: - a botched; 3rd-rate; burglary attempted by a handful of doofuses who were trying to break into the DNC headquarters in the "Watergate" Hotel and Office Complex in 1972 ( Nixon, BTW, didn't know anything at all about the break-in at "Watergate", until he was informed by subordinates after the fact). The story of "Watergate" and how it brought down Richard Nixon's presidency was made into a film called "All the President's Men" in 1976, the movie is a Hollywood classic, and it had a great cast including, Robert Redford and Dustin Hoffman played the two "Washington Post" journalists Carl Bernstein and Bob Woodward. They were the two journalists whose work exposed Nixon's cover-up of the Watergate affair which ultimately forced him to resign in 1974. It's still a great political thriller if you haven't ever seen it.

I hope that Amanda Milius does justice to the story of "Obamagate" - the worst political scandal in American history! I hope her film: "The Plot against the President" is a big hit. She's got some amazing subject matter to work with: the larger than life character of Donald Trump; the high drama of his shock election victory in 2016; bad guys like the sinister, stealthy, President Barack Obama; the role of "Sleepy Joe Biden who was up to his neck in the coup conspiracy, suggesting to Obama that they should take down General Flynn using the "Logan Act"; Susan Rice the cold-blooded, Obama National Security Advisor sending a last-minute email to herself that was intended to shift responsibility for the conspiracy from Obama to Comey - Obama had instructed her to write the email basically to throw Comey's stinking carcass under the wheels of the bus; the treacherous conduct of crooked former FBI counterintelligence Chief Peter Strzock who was screwing the now disgraced FBI lawyer, Lisa Page, (in an extra-marital affair) during" Operation Crossfire Hurricane"; Lisa Page was forced to leave the FBI in disgrace as evidence of 1000's of emails she had sent bearing an extreme/unhinged animus towards President Trump came to light, incredibly she started work as a national security and legal analyst at leftist, anti-Trump network, MSNBC two months ago (?!!); the machinations of the nefarious, thug-like, former Director of Obama's CIA, John Brennan; the ever- crooked Hillary Clinton paying for a British M-16 spy to dig dirt on Trump in Russia; sleazy Democrats like the pencil-necked, bug-eyed, pathological liar "Shifty Schiff" and his notorious "Star Chamber"; the histrionics surrounding the bogus impeachment of President Trump; the profoundly corrupt Robert Mueller and his invidious two-year investigation of President Trump; the smug and sanctimonious former FBI Director Jim Comey briefing Trump on fact that the "Steele Report" claimed that he had organized for two Russian prostitutes to give him a "Golden Shower" (pee on him) in his room at the Moscow Hilton Hotel, and that a video-tape (the "pee tape") of the episode was in circulation and on and on it goes. With material like that, some good acting talent, and good Direction Milius' film about "Obamagate" should be a block - buster !





I hope that this movie is a hit, I think the format which will be used is that of a narrative (in the sense of telling a traditional story like a Jame's Bond/ 007, spy thriller) interspersed with footage of real-life videotape interviews, etc; of the main characters involved in the drama to reinforce that the film is an account of real events and not mere fiction. AS it is being released in October, just before the Presidential election, hopefully it will wake a few of the more complacent Democrat voters up to the fact that their Socialist party is (morally) rotten to the core In short, it is the kind of movie that simpletons likeNORDBERG, palookas like CROCODILE, muppets like KATZGUTZ ding-a-lings like CONCART Bozos like GUNO and bird-brains like MICAWBER really need to watch !
