They do better in crisis and with the economy on a federal level, you always point to the big cities, but rural America, which is generally Republican is not doing that well, either.

San Francisco isn't dying but this is very real. (I love cities because it's where the action is. When the action shuts down and you're stuck inside your small apartment/condo with no outdoor space it isn't all that much fun.)
