She was successful enough to be chosen as VP on the ticket .. which puts her in direct line to the presidency.

She was chosen on the basis of being female and Black. Her success in the primaries had nothing to do with it, as did her repeated and often rather vicious attacks on Biden and his record. If anything, she was the least worst choice Biden could make after backing himself into a box on who he'd select as a VP.

So, you choose your President based on the religious belief that there is no god? I hardly think that's any more valid than some evangelist choosing their President on the basis that the guy regularly attends church and believes in god. I was of the understanding that church and state were to be separated as politics and religion usually don't mix well.
