Default Testing down in Texas, but cases are up

In Texas, testing is down 42%, but the state has a 24% positivity rate while the state added 8,000 cases and 220 deaths yesterday.

We told you this shit would happen, but you didn't want to listen. It was more important to coddle Trump than it was to face the reality of this pandemic.

After yesterday, Florida has more COVID deaths than all of South Korea and Japan combined.

We do not have a dictator. For Christ's sake, we will have an election in November!

Not if Trump has anything to say about it. We aren't supposed to allow the President to shake down foreign governments for personal assistance either, but guess what?

Vote him out in November, and then you guys can stop tearing your hair out. Then the other side can start tearing their hair out.

We MIGHT have an election in November, is what you should say.

What would they have to tear their hair out about? Getting health care? Yeah, how awful.

You mistake my displeasure of Trump and his sycophants for 'tearing my hair out'. Donald Trump will do everything in his power to keep himself in the Oval Office. It is not enough to simply say 'vote him out'. Every American needs to anticipate what Trump will do and thwart it. You appear to be suggesting this is just another election. It isn't. We are in uncharted territory.

Texans will always remember how our Governor was carrying Donald Trump's piss water, and played down the virus here for months, first refusing to put the proper mitigation efforts here in Texas- UNTIL THE VIRUS MUSHROOMED OUT OF CONTROL AND BECAME THE HOTSPOT FOR THE VIRUS IN THE ENTIRE WORLD- AND STILL IS!

Most especially will remember how most Responsible Texans stayed home, distanced themselves, and followed normal mitigation efforts laid out by the WHO and CDC, made all those personal sacrifices- AND NOW OUR REWARD IS HAVING TO REMAIN IN OUR HOMES AND START ALL OVER AGAIN, Children not being able to even go back to school, and most people still can't even go back to their jobs- BECAUSE OUR GOVERNOR DIDN'T TAKE THE VIRUS SERIOUSLY WHEN HE SHOULD.

I'm very pissed about how this governor and our Republican STATE legislators, our Republican Attorney General, State Comptroller, both Republican State Senators and House Members tried to cover up the Virus and pretend it didn't even exist and failed Texas!

There is enough frustration in our state to turn this state blue come November the 3rd.

Trump's calculation was to return as close to normalcy as is possible. He figured that would help him in Nov. The risk of opening too soon was Corona cases and deaths. Trump found in DeSantis a gov who would happily do whatever Trump wanted. He was warned that following Trump wants was going to kill Floridians. DeSantis, like Trump did not care about that. He was looking at a position in the next administration if Trump could cheat enough. Texas followed the same blueprint and is paying bigly. They are growing Corona cases by the pickup truck load.

He’s trying real hard not to have one, asking to postpone it, condemning mail in voting and crippling the post office.

Same here in GA. The state is definitely at a tipping point. Would be wonderful if both TX and GA went blue this year, and the Democrats win the Senate seats.
