Another 100,000 or so in other parts of the USA, where they decided to stay open so long, were avoidable.
Even at that, if New York closed a week or 2 earlier, we could've avoided probably thousands more.
It's undeniable that we prolonged death & yes suffering.
Absolutely, suffering, because so many Covid-19 survivors have damaged hearts & damaged lungs.
My generation is kind of fcked, we keep getting fcked over, because of Republican recessions, and Boomers who decided to hire foreigners, now we're being fcked by Covid-19, a lot of my generation who survived, might die prematurely down the line, yes, because of damages due to Covid-1i9.
