The left, in Democratic controlled cities, prevents the police from stopping the anarchy and fights, tooth and nail, attempts by the Federal Police to help.
Why are they doing this...the election. Yes, the election..
Lives are lost...even children, businesses looted and burned, assaults and murder, all for political gain.
The same thing is happening in the Democratic controlled sanctuary cities...for political gain.

Registered Democrats in all blue California are less than half the state, something like 43 and dropping. (‘No party preference’ has been on the increase.). So to your point if all the ‘no party preference’ folks, I.e. independents, voted Republican California would look very different.
There are liberals on this board who aren’t registered Democrats and they sure aren’t voting Republican. Hell, Bernie Sanders isn’t a registered Democrat. Guess that means he’s really a Republican and his vote and support isn’t needed.

Hello Dutch Uncle,
That has been a misnomer for decades.
Democrats have lately been cleaning up the budget messes left by Republicans. And it looks like it will happen again.
Looks like we might soon find out if it is a conservative myth that taxing the rich more will cause them flee the country.

Agreed. I'll go even further and say that goes for people of both sexes around their friends. It might be one reason why Hillary had a November surprise from Wisconsin, Pennsylvania and Michigan.

Another factor which I don't see addressed a lot except tangentially is the 40% of voters who are Independents. Like myself, most Independents feel neither party represents them; that both parties cater to special interests and put party before country. The high percentage of Independents would help explain why, since 2009, most Americans think our country is going in the wrong direction. https://www.realclearpolitics.com/ep...untry-902.html
When a high percentage of American voters belong to neither party yet recognize their elected reps will belong to one party or the other, then, IMO and using a little game theory, the best solution is to keep both parties off balance by always voting for the challenger or Third Party. That may be what happened in both 2016 and 2018 and what we might see again in 2020, 2022 and 2024.
