What do you think and why, could a radical liberal firebrand ever get elected President of the United States?
Would enough radical liberals support a firebrand who lied and cheated every inch of the way, just to get some supreme court seats and a bit of legislation passed?
The difference for me is that many Republicans are money based and more Liberals are ideology based. If you are an idealist you are less likely to tolerate despicable behavior. Liberals supported Clinton, but that was bad behavior unrelated to the structure of the government and unrelated to his job. Trump is different because much of his bad behavior is actively tearing down the structures of government designed to limit the power of a despot.
What do you think?
I don't think it would happen. The worst of the left is not a large enough segment to carry an election. There is no left wing hate radio that calls conservatives names, or foments hatred. Most of the hatred found on the left is merely in response to the hatred which originates on the right.
