What liars. Some of it should be paid back, if it was not used for the pre-stated purpose and if they did not follow the requirements.

WRONG, there were specific pre-conditions. I know because I got my share and spent it in the way the pre-conditions required so I would not have to pay it back. You had to spend it mostly on payroll and a small percent could go to business expenses such as rent or utilities.

If they let the people who just took it for themselves get away with that Id be pissed, because I followed the pre-conditions.

I see nothing wrong with this......after all Biden has pledged to undo all of Trump's 2016 tax cuts if he's elected.......I'm sure we all know that if Dems win taxes go up, if Republicans win taxes go down.......

Is anyone here stupid enough to believe that they will actually see their payroll withholding changed as a result of this? There is no way companies are going to bet on a longshot that the cuts won't have to be paid back. They are going to withhold this regardless. It's just nonsense.

Correct me if I'm wrong, but the understanding that I have about Trump's latest payroll tax cut is hat the employees would get it directly and the employees would have to pay it back at a later date.

Yep. And the bullshit unemployment benefits requires states to pony up money they don’t have to qualify. As well as create an entirely new UI division. Just for a minimal time extension. That ain’t gonna happen on any scale in any time soon.

The payroll tax thing will most likely have to be absorbed by employers. If they have ANY tax experts, they’ll opt out. Result? No fucking benefit to workers.

All smoke and mirrors and lies. And some idiots will still buy it.

of course not......Demmycrats will sue and a lib'rul federal judge will issue an order requiring all employees to continue paying money that Trump was willing to waive......and we will go to the voting booth with that image in our minds.......
