    Default It's in the mail!

All this hoo-hah about mail in voting in times of Covid-19. In my view, you have the GOP systematically try to privatize the USPS by mandating "pre-payment" of it's pension contributions and such. This caused cut backs. Then they complain that it can't cut the mustard in services, which is a bit hypocritical. Now Dump is wailing that mail in voting on a large scale can't be done (which is funny, given he gave no such complaint regarding the mail-in/absentee tally for his election in 2016) … resulting in criticism of him from both parties.

Here's the take by reputable investigative reporter Greg Palast that should ease some furrowed brows (IMHO, of course): https://www.gregpalast.com/22-of-mai...r-get-counted/

The desperation to win re-election in order to avoid prison is both scary and fun to watch.

Agreed. But I don't think there'll be enough courage among our congressional leadership to actually jail the orange pated palooka after he loses the election. Most likely he'll just get the public/historical record for being a sleeze along with the defunding via lawsuits of his house-of-cards empire.

My preference is for prison, of course. But watching his crime syndicate pay for his corruption is just about as satisfying. Watching him die a broken and disgraced IMPOTUS is, too.
