This year is the first time since 1951 the Pacific has seen no typhoons in the month of July. Typhoons have seen downward trend since 1951. Of course climate alarmists will just ignore that news entirely, it doesn't chime with their doom and gloom bullshit.

Global warming alarmists like to claim that tropical storms will intensify and become more frequent unless people stop using fossil fuels. Recently these alarmists have had our attention steered to the Atlantic basin, where tropical storms this year have seen quite an active season thus far.

Another reason the focus has been on the Atlantic is because very little has been happening in terms of Pacific typhoons, and the alarmists don’t want to talk about that. In fact this July is the first July to have seen no typhoons formed in the Pacific at all since statistics on this began in 1951, according to the data from the Japan Meteorological Agency (JMA).

It seems you're ignoring the record pace of storms in the Atlantic. Why? On top of that, a storm did form in the Pacific but it was far enough east that it was a powerful hurricane by name. It's not like there isn't plenty of stuff to ridicule as being alarmist through the years but stuff like this makes it look like they're the ones desperately crying wolf instead. No wonder this site has its quack rating. It's damaging to more legitimate climate skepticism.

Oh ffs, are the JMA quacks as well? Whenever there are typhoons there will be a shitload of losers telling us that this is definite proof of global warming. They will then post an article by cretins Dana Nuccitelli or Damian Carrington in the Guardian.
