There is a Jewish restaurant near me that does incredible hummus. It's made fresh everyday from chickpeas. I bet you thought there was no such thing in Thailand.

I actually looked to see who cine was........ Obviously a nobody........ The croissant (The crescent) isn't French & I doubt food sgt cine is either........
French fries in sour cream & shrimp in my Pho, but I draw the line there..lol
Just a fun discussion, though....I do think the more modern version of the croissant was French, but...do try a cronut if you haven't yet...I do think that "started " in France
