Yes I studied Ancient Greek history at school and especially the Peloponnesian War. I guess you'd better start learning Mandarin then. My son is doing that now, having mastered Japanese. you are not paying more. the tariffs are absorbed by the import/exporters. statistics show they have not added costs to the goods.
Nobody wants tariffs -but you can completely forget about China not ripping us off with malign trade practices
and closing their markets etc. if we dont force them to negotiate
