Or are you going to follow Fauci’s orders and sit at home till you need treatment?
Asswipe, I’ve been at work 40+ hours a week, IN PUBLIC, since this thing began. Facing idiots like you, in denial, every fucking day.

I'd love it if the positive reports about that stuff were true. It's become way too politicized.

There was one study supporting its use - and 3 studies (that I know of) that didn't. I know I'm supposed to be a maverick & make up "my own mind" on this kind of thing, but why believe this guy over others?

Though, I do wholeheartedly agree w/ the thread title.

How long has remdesivir been around?
I dont know anything about it, I assume its a corticosteroid

Corticosteroids are synthetic drugs that are used to treat a wide variety of disorders, including asthma, arthritis, skin conditions and autoimmune diseases. The drug mimics cortisol, a hormone that's naturally produced by the adrenal glands in healthy people.
Prednisone looked good - thats about where we are at with therapeutics.
I personally think the steroids are also cause some of the lasting damage to organs, but that's just a guess.

COVID is novel but not a super bug -hydroxychlooquine is a palliative and precluded the heavy steroid uses/side effects

Remdesivir is patented by Gilead Sciences and is used extensively in Japan. It's not cheap though, unlike HCQ.

You retard! Trump told the state's governors to control their own states over this China virus.
Common sense is not a gift, it's a punishment because you have to deal with everyone who doesn't have it.

Sites like realclear are biased and usually 'dark money' funded. Their purpose is hard to grasp as they are not real media or news sources but rather propaganda sites. They are in a real sense State media, similar to Pravda in Russia. Their function is confusion and doubt of genuine news when it doesn't fit into their ideological stance. Today OAN and Fox are examples too. When anyone uses them as a source you are in make up land. Modern technology has given the biased ideologues a home.

HCQ was developed as an anti malarial drug but was found to have immunosuppressant properties. It’s not a steroid but an antiviral with immunosuppressant properties.

In fact, it’s in vitro mechanism vs COVID is established. I’m pretty sure I’ve seen you post about it.

The COVID ‘mechanism’ is no longer novel: the vast majority of infections don’t progress beyond Stage I; Stage II is to be avoided because that will land you in the hospital.

There is good evidence that *early* intervention with HCQ stops most infections at Stage I: Fifty [50] different studies show exactly that.

Fourteen studies show no effect and most of those studies were done using Stage II patients and the OP writer claimed the Lancet study was outright fraudulent. Lancet certainly pulled it awfully quick. [wtf?]

There is better evidence of HCQ efficacy than there is for masks. But our experts are telling us there is no evidence HCQ works—they at least appear to be lying.

In fact, millions of people are wearing masks because ‘they might work’ but they won’t take HCQ when HCQ *probably works* because they are being told it’s ‘dangerous’ or something...something...Trump.

It is literally, insane. Seriously, if anyone reading this is part of a vulnerable population and gets tested positive and becomes even mildly symptomatic *do not* self-quarantine till you are short of breath: find a doctor that will put you on HCQ/Zinc/Arythromycin.

I have no idea [that I care to think about] why our government isn’t telling people this.

Why do you need a national position to tell you what to do, anchovies?

Can’t you read the available data, speak with your doctor and make up your own mind about treatment options?

Do you need a national position to tell you how to see your doctor?

    Good grief.

    Good article—especially the graphs.

    Bullet points:

COVID can be a two stage disease process

Good evidence of HCQ efficacy in early stage of COVID infections/little to no efficacy in late stages

Fauci doctrine: quarantine infections at home unless they develop Stage II symptoms [shortness of breath]

NIH/Fauci/FDA withdraw HCQ recommendations based on flawed studies and clinical trials that were applicable only to *late-stage* COVID patients.

Upshot: the government was telling infected people to stay quarantined *during the precise interval* when they should have been taking a pill that cost .60 cents and it could have saved thousands or tens of thousands of lives.

Travesty doesn’t begin to describe this.
That is a good read! Wow, Fauci really screwed up, or was what he did intentional?
