Default N.Y. attorney general seeks to dissolve NRA in suit accusing them of fraud

The chief executive of the National Rifle Association and several top lieutenants engaged in a decades-long pattern of fraud to raid the coffers of the powerful gun rights group for personal gain, according to a lawsuit filed Thursday by the New York attorney general, draining $64 million from the nonprofit in just three years.

In her lawsuit, Attorney General Letitia James called for the dissolution of the NRA and the removal of CEO Wayne LaPierre from the leadership post he has held for the past 39 years, saying he and others used the group’s funds to finance a luxury lifestyle.

LaPierre is going to jail. I guess he won't be able to bring his guns. He's yet another slimeball that the Trumptards worship like a God.

She is saying they acted like the Clinton Foundation?

This is how fucking stupid you leftists are.

You think if you bring down the NRA you will stop people from supporting their 2A rights?

Good fucking luck. I am a lifelong member of the NRA, but not many are who own guns. You guys always fight the wrong fucking battles.

You think this dumb ginger is on to something?

(Reuters) - New York state’s attorney general sued to dissolve the National Rifle Association on Thursday, alleging senior leaders of the non-profit group diverted millions of dollars for personal use and to buy the silence and loyalty of former employees.

The lawsuit announced by Attorney General Letitia James alleges NRA leaders paid for family trips to the Bahamas, private jets and expensive meals that contributed to a $64 million reduction in the NRA’s balance sheet in three years, turning a surplus into a deficit.

Oh stop being an obtuse fuckhead

Of course this is about the 2nd Amendment. Dumb fuck leftists like you think that the NRA is the only thing between you and your utopian dream of gun control. Yes, they are a lobbying group, but they aren't they only one. Dumb cunts like that ginger DA and you think if you take out the NRA you have a clear field to take out the 2nd Amendment

It is like you don't even know you are being obvious

Should be a pretty easy case to prove. All they need to do is hold up the receipts they got from Maria Butiina.

Financial fraud. Looks like a clear cut case. Members and executives have been claiming fraud by NRA leadership for years.

Could be but the NRA headquarters is in VA. Not sure how a N.Y. AG can do anything meaningful. But I'm no lawyer. Just a golf course marshal.

The left has been attempting to dissolve the NRA for more than 50 years. GOOK LUCK. The People will never allow this 2nd amendment organization to go belly up. Do you know how many guns have been purchased since this democrat plague and book burning began in Feb. 2020? In some states gun sales are up by 80% this year. Regardless of what event the left plans.....it always backfires. It seems all they do is "TALK".
