Abortion rights dogma can obscure human reason & harden the human heart so much that the same person who feels
empathy for animal suffering can lack compassion for unborn children who experience lethal violence and excruciating
pain in abortion.
Unborn animals are protected in their nesting places, humans are not. To abort something is to end something
which has begun. To abort life is to end it.

“Woe to me!” I cried. “I am ruined! For I am a man of unclean lips, and I live among a people of unclean lips, and my eyes have seen the King, the Lord Almighty.”

The idea that religious people lack critical thinking skills is completely bogus. You can do both. Some Christians are more God-fearing than humble Christian. That is where you get a lot of the droned out ignorance and condemnation in what is supposed to be a doctrine of selfless compassion. It makes sense since fear is the antithesis to complex thought.

Well, of course. People become atheists because they have observed the world and actually thought things through to arrive at their conclusions. Many, if not most, religious people were born and indoctrinated into their religions. No real thought processes going on. Merely sheep.
