Excellence is an art won by training and habituation. We do not act rightly because we have virtue or excellence, but rather we have those because we have acted rightly. We are what we repeatedly do. Excellence, then, is not an act but a habit.

Believe nothing on the faith of traditions, even though they have been held in honor for many generations and in diverse places. Do not believe a thing because many people speak of it. Do not believe on the faith of the sages of the past. Do not believe what you yourself have imagined, persuading yourself that a God inspires you. Believe nothing on the sole authority of your masters and priests. After examination, believe what you yourself have tested and found to be reasonable, and conform your conduct thereto.

^^ Biden has never claimed he took the Montreal Cognitive Test
https://www.google.com/amp/s/amp.cnn...eck/index.html
This is wrong. You are wrong. The idea is wrong.
Trump was elected because he is a BUILDER with hands on experience.
Trump is a "contractor" ---contractors are builders.
You can not be a successful contractor without ALL the basic business skills mastered.
He owns your house, he designs and finances and coordinates and constructs networks of man-power to act in concert.
You are thinking about politicians as fanciful philosopher influencers ---like the world's present day rock-stars...but without hit songs....and yes with more and more problems to deal with.
Mendacious self-angrandised soap box pilgrims sporting posh trainers and gold-rimmed hookahs.
You wouldn't qualify to work on the USS Startrek missions except to mine the plutonium.
They only give that test to people they suspect are in early stages of dementia/Alzheimer's, or have shown a noticeable cognitive decline from a brain injury.
So that's why Trump had to take the test, but why Biden hasn't.
When I die, turn me into a brick and use me to cave in the skull of a fascist

Abortion rights dogma can obscure human reason & harden the human heart so much that the same person who feels
empathy for animal suffering can lack compassion for unborn children who experience lethal violence and excruciating
pain in abortion.
Unborn animals are protected in their nesting places, humans are not. To abort something is to end something
which has begun. To abort life is to end it.
What the hell are you ranting about? I was being facetious.
Also, Trump isn't a "builder." He's a fraud and a conman. If you want to talk about progressive billionaires who built their wealth from scratch and are changing the world, look at men like Jeff Bezos, Bill Gates, Elon Musk, etc.

Here are just a few. If I have more time I'll revisit and add to the list.
1. Fast & Furious. Giving weapons to cartels without tracking them is not helpful in any way for law enforcement and they knew it. Hillary Clinton was out trying to blame America for the guns they were "finding" but we found out that they were allowed to purchase them in huge quantities and take them across the border. Then his weak attempt to say that Bush "did the same thing" when he clearly understood that he didn't.
2. Economic Policy - His economic policy slowed the recovery, and wasted treasure on failing companies that he wanted to "win" (like Solyndra).
3. His "you didn't build that" nonsense. This belief that because everybody can use a road that the risk you took on to create a company didn't exist is pure unadulterated bullsplat.
4. His picks for SCOTUS. I am a strict constructionist Scalia fan, not a "living document" fan.
5. His economically fascist Healthcare law that required a tax for not buying something, and created a fascistic Cartel full of bureaucrats to run 1/6th of our economy.
6. His stance on the 2nd Amendment.

In an interview with representatives from the national associations of Black and Hispanic journalists while talking about extending temporary protected status to Cubans in Florida communities who are being deported, former Vice President Joe Biden referenced what he said is a distinction between diversity within Black and Latino communities. Biden told NPR’s Lulu Garcia-Navarro that “unlike the African-American community, with notable exceptions, the Latino community is an incredibly diverse community with incredibly different attitudes about different things. You go to Florida, and you find a very different attitude about immigration in certain places than you do when you’re in Arizona.”

*******
So, the gaff machine has spoken again.
African Americans have to be treated differently because they all think alike (racist, ignorant and attitude of low expectations)
Latino Americans are much more diverse, discerning and independent thinkers (nationalist, bigoted, one nationality being more open and varied than another)
They can't let this idiot NEAR a debate stage. (my prediction)

So here's the Democratic candidate for president basically saying that all black people are the same and hold the same opinions about everything
