I don't know who these people (the ones who walked out) thought they were going to see when CSNY sang: "Let's Impeach The President For Lying:"

Must be some Toby Keith fans there...

Funny you should mention Willie Nelson. You know, Willie is from Texas. They LOVE Willie Nelson in Texas. So, in that Neil Young Concert I just watched, which was awesome, it was like really going to a show. It starts off with an empty stage. The place is packed, and it's that extended moment where everybody is waiting for the band to come out. Cameras pan the crowd, people laughing and yakking. Some people see the camera pointing their way and wave to you. Then the lights go down on the stage. The crowd starts to go crazy. A screen behind the stage shows a scene of silhouettes walking with light behind them. Then the band files out onto the stage. The crowd is going wild. They pick up their instruments and begin to play within 20 seconds of walking out. The crowd is riveted, starts rockin. After a long intro, Neil begins to sing. The camera zooms in on him and he's got a ball cap on. At first you can't make it out. What does it say? Then, there is a close up. He's wearing a Willie Nelson hat. In Austin Texas, Neil Young comes out on stage with a Willie Nelson hat on. Oh, yeah. The crowd is eating it up. After a song or two, Neil acts like he's warm and takes the hat off. Then he sails it right out into the crowd. The camera follows it. Happy concert-goers leap for it. Somebody comes up lucky.

    What a show.

And that was just the beginning.
Neil Young, coming out on stage in Austin Texas with a Willie Nelson hat on, oh yeah. He knows how to be cool.

I found this odd. Not long ago he was saying that he/other musicians weren't happy about any candidates using their music. He said something about the songs being legally open for use, so I don't know what this suit is about?

I saw them do that at two different shows when Bush was still POTUS. I loved when the idiots left, claiming that they don't think the music should be 'political'.

Clearly, these people know nothing about CSN/CSNY, as many of their better known songs are exactly that.

rights to play the music can be obtained by paying a fee to ASCAP.......I find it hard to believe that a presidential campaign wouldn't have paid the fee, since it isn't that expensive.......a public communications license is probably less than a thousand dollars.....

I did read it. A week or so ago it seemed as if they had no action. I found that surprising. It remains to be seen what happens in court. I would imagine that no money is being made, so there is no case.

I bet you lot never knew that Neil Young publicly supported Ronald Reagan, despite being unable to vote.
