Who cares what an anonymous liberal on an obscure message board would have said. Presidents are supposed to save lives and decisively and aggressivly confront any crisis. Irrespective of what message board poster Cypress says.
Trump is the leader of the nation and a pandemic of this nature requires a decisive national response.
35 percent of the nation believe everything Trump says. And by word, deed, and action he told those people COVID was a Democratic hoax, that face masks were for wimps, and that COVID was no worse than the common cold.
That is not leadership and that is exactly why our pandemic response has been so inept compared to most of the developed world

so you complain about Trump's ..what was it leadership?
But then can't even say what should have been different/done by Trump?
Looking at + test results (total cases) is meaningless -since no other country comes close to testing -
and will continue to test.
I noticed SunBelt states hospitalizations are dropping. and we didn't do anymore except the original shutdown except ban bars and mandate masks.
Shutdowns dont work. Putting kids back to school with social distancing isn't going to spread deaths -
so long as those at risk self isolate

Umm the Governors have control over how their state handles COVID not Trump. There is only so much he can do the Governors have most of the control over, closing, face masks, hospitals, medical boards etc. Even the Democrat Cuomo praised Trump's support for New York. And Fauci testified in Congress that several of Trump's decisions saved lives.

Very stupid fat man.
The great irony is that if Trump had just taken the advice of liberals, and provided the sober, decisive, and aggressive leadership shown in many other countries, Trump would have guaranteed his re-election.
I am not in the habit of giving opponents advice on how to improve their electoral prospects, but in this case the welfare of the nation was in balance

Good luck blaming Cuomo for the Trump Pandemic.
Cuomo has excellent poll approval ratings, because he is perceived as having provided sober, clear-eyed, desicive leadership, with just the right amount of empathy.
In all reputable polls, Trump's response to the Trump Pandemic is widely perceived as utterly inept
Even Trump's own top medical expert Fauci said New York did all the right things to stem the pandemic

It does not matter what your opinion is, or whether it makes you angry.
The facts on the ground, reputable statistical polling, global metrics of morality rates, and metrics showing which countries were reasonably successful at stemming the outbreak lead to these inescapable conclusions:
The U.S. response to the Trump Pandemic is lagging woefully behind most other developed nations.
Governor Cuomo is perceived by the public as having provided sober, effective, and descisive leadership in stemming the outbreak.
Donald Trump is widely percived as being both inept, and prone to providing false and misleading information on the Trump Pandemic
no need to sell me on the soft shoe shuffle media coverage of Cuomo.
His one decision he had to make on his own cost thousands of nursing homes lives.
Shutdowns don't work. Social distancing and hygiene does.
We should be opening up to that new reality and coping with Covid.
But I agree with you on the political spin job -nothing new there
We might have gotten lucky, and it could have gone away. We did not get lucky, and it spreads well in air conditioning.
trump and his supporters keep predicting we will get lucky, and not need to work to solve these problems. We have not been having a run of good luck, so I am worried. Maybe it is time to start using competent hard work. If we get lucky, and did not need it, the education and skills we got by doing it will be useful in the next pandemic.
