    LOl! Funny!

Sailor you should be a planet warming expert with all of your experience out in the weather and been around the world as many times as you have.

Too bad your politics prevents you from being a leader in the fight!

Although many scientists may not go along, none of them will dispute the above statement.
You really are full of shit ffs!!

The United Nations Intergovernmental Panel On Climate Change’s (IPCC) newly-released climate report, once again, found little to no evidence global warming caused many types of extreme weather events to increase.

“The IPCC once again reports that there is little basis for claiming that drought, floods, hurricanes, tornadoes have increased, much less increased due to” greenhouse gases, University of Colorado professor Roger Pielke, Jr. tweeted Sunday night.

For example, the IPCC’s report noted that “there is only low confidence regarding changes in global tropical cyclone numbers under global warming over the last four decades.” Pielke pointed out this inconvenient data.

Much like the IPCC’s 2013 climate assessment, the new special report confirmed what Pielke and others have said for years about the relationship between global warming and extreme weather.

But don’t expect to hear that from many other media outlets, especially those that often cite individual weather events as evidence of man-made warming.

For example, The Washington Post’s write-up of the IPCC’s report focused on the mainline findings — namely, that “the world is woefully off target” to keep future global warming below 1.5 degrees Celsius

The condition being experienced in Norway is the “Arctic Oscillation.”

Two drawings of Earth, one on left showing arrows around Arctic area and regions of coldest weather and storms.

The positive phase (left) has higher air pressure in the mid-latitudes than in the Arctic, making for a milder winter for the U.S. The negative phase (right) has higher air pressure over the Arctic, pushing very cold, wet air into the U.S.

Here’s what that means. Air moves from one place to another around the world because of air pressure. In some places, the air is thicker, or more dense, than in other places. We say the air pressure is higher. Air moves from areas of higher pressure to areas of lower pressure. That is wind!
Drawing. Two circles, one on left represents are of high pressure, with arrow moving right to circle representing low pressure area.

Air in the atmosphere moves from regions of higher pressure to regions of lower pressure. This air movement is called wind.

The Arctic Oscillation is the movement of air back and forth between the North Pole area and the areas farther south—like down to the middle of the U.S. Sometimes the air pressure is higher in the south so the warmer air pushes north, and keeps the really cold Arctic air in the Arctic. This is called the “positive phase” of the Arctic Oscillation. Other times the air pressure is higher in the Arctic so the cold air moves south. This is called the “negative phase.” The Arctic Oscillation is a little more complicated, but this is basically how it works.

Scientists say severe winter weather is still to be expected from time to time. That kind of weather happens even while man-made greenhouse gases build up in the atmosphere creating a long-term warming trend for the planet. When we look into our future, we definitely see a warmer world.

If deniers think this is proof against climate change, why do they always avoid this stuff? https://www.accuweather.com/en/sever...rd-high/783993 Still, you can't just judge any of this by random weather events. The fact is climates are changing and some of the biggest tells are in the animal and plant kingdoms. Some will argue though that plants are thriving like never before, however, they thrive on the opposite spectrum than animals and people do. They thrive on the gases we produce and in turn, they help produce what we thrive on. The biggest thing to solve climate issues, even more than lessening greenhouse gases, is to stop destroying forests and help restore them. If we did that we might not have to worry about or lessen our output quite as much. As it stands now though, only significant decreases will have an effect since we have wreaked the natural buffers.

Tom just literally and willingly proved my point. Like saying he's not a cookie thief while his hands in the jar.

    Whacky Weather is not cool.
This illegal illegitimate regime that runs America is at fault...not me.... they do not represent me and I have long objected to their crimes against humanity.
