Remember the right wing hero Ammon Bundy

Ammon Bundy, an anti-government activist who led the 41-day armed takeover of the Malheur National Wildlife Refuge back in 2016, expressed support for the Black Lives Matter movement and for defunding the police in a recent Facebook video.

If I remember correctly, bundy had a legitimate gripe. He was paying grazing fees in return for the guvmint maintaining the land(clearing certain invasive vegetation, controlled burns for fire prevention, stuff like that). The feds weren't holding up their end of the bargain, so bundy stopped paying the fees and started doing the housekeeping themselves and the feds started charging him outrageous penalties. So yeah, I understand. I have a buddy who did 6 months in jail for pot a few years back. I haven't talked to him in awhile, but from our prior discussions on the subject of police, I wouldn't be surprised if he threw a couple bricks at the cops if given the chance. BLM overplayed their hand though, fuck 'em, I got no sympathy for them at all.

I think the area was protected?? -cattle grazing not allowed & he did it anyway, I believe, something about protected tortoise........??

He's actually pretty consistent with a lot of hard core libertarians. Many have always thought there should be no police since they give gov't too much power.
