The 86-year-old Ginsburg was admitted to the hospital on Friday with “chills and fever.” The Supreme Court’s oldest justice went home Sunday, according to CBS’s Jan Crawford.

The Supreme Court always considers significant cases, and those pending are no exception: whether Trump can undo President Obama’s executive order suspending immigration laws, whether laws against sex discrimination require employers to allow cross-dressing, whether religious schools may participate in state choice programs, to what extent states may regulate abortion, and more.

Her most infamous case was during a SOTU address where it was on camera. But, she's known to do so during proceedings all the time now. Not a good thing if you are presenting a case with a strong oral argument.

she is not well, she will not live to see next July

she has metastatic cancer that is not responding to treatment, they are using what is called palliative therapy. They are merely trying to shrink the tumors to keep her comfortable.

If the cancer has spread to the liver and lungs, then it has most likely also spread to her brain and bones

As far as I am concerned, if she were to die before the election, Trump has until January 2021 to replace her and by law there is nothing the democrats can do except cry. And the Senate and the President should do everything they can to replace her if she dies.
