2 years ago, I would have said no. Today, I would say yes. They've lurched pretty hard to the left, but it was a long time coming. They already have let the place become a dumping ground for Somalis, so dismantling police was the next logical step for leftist idiocy.

The worst repercussion of allowing so many Somalis in is not actually experienced here. What has been happening is that some of the younger Somalis have been leaving the US temporarily to join militant groups like Al Shabaab to kill people in Africa, and then come back here after their murders. It's similar to the Muslims that left the UK temporarily to fight alongside the jihadis in Syria.
