    OMG we lost George Will

Who is next Jeff Flake? John Kasich? Pierre Delector? Steve Schmidt? Joe Scarborough?

So in all seriousness what is George Will's end game with this? Does he think he is punishing Trump supporters? Does he think that if Trump loses his supporters will come to him on bended knee asking for forgiveness? It isn't going to work like that. He is marginalized forever.

The left will use him as the useful idiot he is, but that is it.

I'm glad to see that there are some decent people among the Republicans besides John McCain.

you mean the same John McCain you guys savaged in 2008?

you guys are so fucking transparent

You have no use for George Will other than he calls himself a NeverTrumper. He has been called racist and all sort of things by leftists. So because Trump is not George Will's cup of tea, George Will is going to vote for socialism to teach Trump supporters a lesson?

George Will is free to vote for whomever he chooses. But, he is mistaken if he thinks he is teaching anyone a lesson. The only thing he is succeeding at is getting invited to more DC cocktail parties and false platitudes by dipshits like you

He promised I return to attacking Democrats as soon as Joe is elected, but he feels Trump is so damaging to our country that he needs to be removed from office.

George Will is a hardcore, lifelong Reagan conservative.

It is the equivalent of Al Sharpton announcing he is doing everything he can to get Donald Trumpf elected.

That is what makes it newsworthy.

I actually do not understand why Will is shocked that Trump became the face of conservatism. Conservatives have been promoting white resentment, xenophobia, and white Christian nationalism for decades.

Why on God's green earth would Will be shocked that Donald Trumpf is the natural and expected consequence of the ideology Will has been defending for 30 years?

Will is not a populist. and he's a globalist.
Trump is a economic nationalist/populist, and that directly goes against Will

They live in their little bubble. I used to be an avid reader of George Will. He is a phenomenal writer. Unfortunately he is like many who call themselves conservative, they are only interested in debating conservative policies as soon as someone tries to implement them and the left calls them mean they immediately abandon those values.

Our own Cawacko is like that. He is just interesting in mentally masturbating about conservative policies, but I don't see him as an ideological conservative. As long as he gets his tax cuts, he is good.

For some reason Will thinks he still has clout amongst Trump supporters. What he doesn't realize is that WE left HIM a long time ago. WE realized he wasn't really standing up for the things he claimed to believe so we abandoned them for Trump. Trump is an imperfect vessel, but he is the only one I see fighting for America.

Will like Cawacko just talk about it but always cede ground

What Will doesn't realize is that his sphere of influence is shrinking. He merely is currying favor with those who will turn their backs on him once they are finished with him. Maybe he should look at what happened to McCain and Romney.
