I dont see why a COVID vaccine is more difficult to develope then any viral vaccine/
The neat thing is they used the protein spike (viral shell) to get the exact genome sequence, rather then splice it.

Well, the flu vaccine is only marginally effective.

We’ll see. Actually, I’ve wondered whether the fact they give flu vaccines causes the flu virus to evolve via natural selection the way bacteria do in the presence of antibiotics. It would be a neat way to keep the flu vaccine business going.

At any rate, treatments could nullify a need for a vaccine. I’m a fan of the immune system approach. COVID victims are most often attacked by their own immune system with the virus acting as a trigger.
