I never got sick. Could be my immune system. Could be I have a natural immunity. I know I tested negative. Haven't done the antibody test, because I don't believe they are accurate yet
Don't worry, you'll get it at some point. Maybe it won't be si bad. Wasn't for me. Probably won't be bad for me until I'm 60. But ya never know, maybe on the 20th infection it'll be bad.

People have to eat. Water has to pump. Electricity has to be provided. So SOME people will have to go outside, and they will get infected eventually. And continue to reinfect other people they come in contact with as a necessity of living. So it'll just keep spreading, slower, but still spreading. Oh, and it can pass between humans and animals. So even if you somehow managed to stop all human infection (which you can't) then it'll just come from animal contact in a month or two.
Why do you ignore the obvious fact that masks/sanitizer work?

You MUST allow the virus to enter your body. Even if you have it on your hands, soap and water destroys it. So does alcohol.

Keep from inhaling it, and you are good to go.

Flu viruses continually change over time. This constant changing enables the virus to evade the immune system, so that people are susceptible to the flu throughout life. This process works as follows: a person infected with a flu virus develops antibodies against that virus; as the virus changes, the "older" antibodies no longer recognizes the "newer" virus, and the person gets sick. The older antibodies can, however, provide partial protection against newer viruses.

exactly. glad you brought that up
Which was the point abut the seroantibodies ( T-calls whatever) dwindling after clearing the infection
it still has a residual effect.
Like other infectual diseases as well that once exposed you dont get them again.

Corona seems to be highly infectuous, but not particularly lethal.
you get it and you are good to go unless the immune system itself is compromised

Agree. Same goes for the common cold. How do people avoid that?

I think Earlvanca is the one who will offer some ridiculous blog post as evidence.
Let 'er rip; I have both of the impotent groaners on ignore.

I suspect that once this has passed, if/when it does, we are going to have a major, major health crisis on our hands. Hundreds of thousands are going to be disabled, many permanently, and unable to do their customary activities, including work. They will be a drain on the health care sector as well as the welfare system. I expect that we'll see a sudden national desire for a single-payer health care system -- even from our RW friends.

It’s been lethal to 130,000 people, you aren’t very empathetic. It’s disgusting. There will also be many people who suffer long term health issues.

I’m not taking any chances. I think it’s fine, but better safe than sorry.

Im empathetic. my religion Tibetian Buddhism is BASED on compassion
( compassion is called the straight line to enlightenment)

But I'm also realistic -and CORONA isn't a superbug -it's just a NOVEL virus

    What Does "Novel" Coronavirus Mean?
    https://www.brgeneral.org/healthy-li...navirus-mean-/
The virus isn’t necessarily more powerful than other viruses when it enters the human body, but we have no pre-existing defenses since our bodies don’t immediately recognize it as a dangerous intruder.

Except that they do work, they've worked in other countries, and they can work here...you just want Americans to die because you're not an American and your job is to sow division on the internet.

So...put them in nursing homes? This is your great idea?

What if you're one of those who has to be isolated?

Now, since you obviously agree with this governor, a few points against his argument:

First of all, he is not a math guy. He is a politician. He is also denying mathematics (details follow).
He is making use of a void reference with these so-called 'experts'. That's a false authority fallacy. The use of 'experts' here is also a buzzword fallacy.
He is also making a Pascal's Wager fallacy.
He is making a false equivalence fallacy in comparing reported cases to all cases. This is also a compositional error involving people as the class. Bigotry.
He also seems to enjoy manufacturing random numbers and using them as data. That is also a fallacy. It is also a math error.
He is also making the false equivalence of infections to immunity. They are not the same thing.
Covid does not affect trauma centers or the beds used by them.
Masks do not stop a virus. His insistence on wearing one is junk science. See the N95 specification.

Try to think for yourself. Using the arguments of others as your own doesn't fly.
