what I'm saying is the dangers are equal but the sane sobers dont get equal treatment under the law,,,

and what should be against the law is where your actions caused harm to others and not precrime where it might happen,,,,

It is not idiotic. When you text you are traveling hundreds of feet without paying attention to the road. Someone they hit will be just as dead as if a drunk driver hit them.

Thanks, I should add that to the list of freedoms that they had better not take away from me. Most drivers who text make it home safe! Good call!

As long as you aren't an expert marksman, most people will recover. So sure. So many good possibilities.

Tell me who is more likely to have a wreck a sober person or a drunk. Who can negotiate a auto course a sober or drunk driver. If you doubt it you are a bigger idiot than concart.

    Precrime. I love it.

Every assault is a precrime up until the battery! That's the ticket!

According to blades I can release 5000 rabid dogs in my town and if they buck the odds and don't bite a child, it's not a crime!
I can shoot arrows into the air and if they don't happen to impale anyone, no crime. It's a precrime.
    He must be drunk.

Young males with giant subwoofers in Tokyo drift Subarus driving is practically criminal. And old people.

Sober person texting or a drunk driver? I am not sure. Both are very dangerous. The National Safety Council says 1.6 million accidents a year are caused by in-car cell phone use. perhaps the idiot is you again.
