Biden was making the point that women can be relied upon to help the nation. The quote also suggests accurately that women have not been allowed the opportunity. He is setting the ground for a female VP. Intelligent people use quotes from all over the world. Citing Jesus does not make you a Christian. Citing Mao does not make you a Commie. Saying you must be the change you wish to see by Gandhi does not make you a Hinduism follower.
