Because it has nothing to do with BLM. BLM is about holding cops responsible for police brutality. Saying "wHaT aBoUt BlAcK oN bLaCk CrImE?" is just a distraction that misses the point. Regular civilians are already jailed for their crimes. BLM is concerned with cops because cops get away with crime.

In Chicago, 30% of murders [mostly black on black] result in a conviction.

For every black man that is killed by a cop [I’ll take a stab at it] there are a couple hundred blacks killed by other blacks. Including black children.

If ‘blacks lives really mattered’ to BLM I think their energies could be better spent elsewhere.

That's literally like saying environmentalists don't care about crime because they devote their time to saving the environment. Most activists specialize in one area. It doesn't mean they don't care about other things.

I'm guessing yes, but like I said, activists generally devote their time to one issue. And nobody has the time to get involved for ALL the issues. I've never marched for trans rights, but that doesn't mean I don't care about trans rights. It's just that I have a life outside of marching, I can't be involved in everything.
