At this point it needs to be said: the increased infection and transmission rates are largely the fault of Republicans.

Far more Democrats are wearing face masks than Republicans, poll finds

Democrats are far more likely than Republicans to wear a face mask outside the home, new polling by Gallup finds.

Sixty-one percent of Democrats say they always wear a mask, compared with 24 percent of Republicans, according to the poll results released Monday.

Meanwhile, 27 percent of Republicans say they never wear a mask outside the home, compared with only 1 percent of Democrats

I see it in Judge Hildago’s face, Mayor Turner and her were trying to do it the right way, but were over ridden by Abbott. Now Abbott bears responsibility for the surge. She is frustrated and who can blame her.

I spoke to my niece today who lives in Wichita and they are running out of ICU beds! If there are no beds and no personnel to treat people, the death toll is going to start to rise.

Seems like the essence of insanity to wish/want/pretend the pandemic is not a big deal (when it clearly is,) and to actually make it worse through rejection/rebellion/indifference.

Logically, if one wished the pandemic was minimized, then one would do everything possible to minimize it.

Anti-maskers are actively making the situation worse for themselves; and tragically placing others in jeopardy, even causing deaths.

I think their problem is they see the world only in terms of political calculations.

IF they would actually try to do what they were elected to do....

It's not just a Democratic problem any more.

    As if it ever was.

First gotta get to the next rally.

    Oh, wait a minute.

    There aren't any.

This week doesn't look any better than last.

    Things are getting worse.

Texas has called in the Nat’l guard for help. Doctors and nurses are exhausted. Judge Hildago is begging Abbott to return authority to her. Abbott made the gross statement that he thought younger people were immune. These Republicans are so grossly uneducated. I’ve never heard them say anyone is immune.

I saw a doctor from Alabama cry on TV. It is overwhelming them.

So, you far left loons are continuing to politicize the virus from China that China failed to contain.

Will you be cheering the economic loss to millions of Americans and their families caused by the virus from China that China failed to contain?

Of course you will as you already have done.

China did contain it. Trump allowed 40 K plus people to fly to 17 American cities and claimed he was stopping flights. Others flew to Europe and then into America unchecked. Trump should have quarantined all those people. But he golfed and held rallies instead. Trump did not take it seriously. This is Trump's disease. He was warned about it in Dec. He was told it was crossing borders and he should play president and deal with it. Instead the baby calls it China's disease and points fingers. I don't think anyone should concern themselves with childish labeling. They should do their jobs.
