I have my doubts that Floyd would be alive today with or without the cops.

If Floyd was symptomatic with COVID *and on Fentanyl* all ganging up on his weak heart—he may have died sitting in the squad car. In fact, the autopsy concluded he died of cardiopulmonary failure.

To say the prosecutions case is weak is an understatement. They need to either aim low or risk having Chauvin walk.

And while I’m on the subject, this thing has been a epic travesty. All of this rioting, unrest, racial division and tearing the country apart goes back to a situation where a man was simply in the process of dying and the cops failed to recognize it and act appropriately.

We don’t have a cop problem. We have another kind of problem altogether.

Had they called EMT earlier, he might have lived.

Abortion rights dogma can obscure human reason & harden the human heart so much that the same person who feels
empathy for animal suffering can lack compassion for unborn children who experience lethal violence and excruciating
    pain in abortion.

Unborn animals are protected in their nesting places, humans are not. To abort something is to end something
which has begun. To abort life is to end it.

I agree. Cops should have called an ambulance while he and the cops were all standing around when he stated he was having trouble
breathing and was (according to the store owner) sweating profusely. Two of quite a few signs of possible heart attack in progress.

    Well, maybe lol.

Cop gets thrown in the slammer for that? If you read the transcript you can see that Floyd was in a bad way: could barely walk, having trouble breathing—even said ‘I’m gonna die’ at one point. Medical people *really* don’t like to hear people say that.

Cops talked back and forth on how to handle him. There wasn’t one ounce of ill intent in any of their communications. Put simply, they mishandled the situation by not recognizing that Floyd was in distress.

Floyd requires restraining at some point, probably while trying to get him into the cruiser; Chauvin uses *the approved* knee restraint; Floyd’s heart gives out with Chauvin’s knee on his neck.

What’s the charge? You tell me.

Maybe at least negligent. Unless they can prove they were unaware of his distress, which I find it hard to believe because from the video, it was OBVIOUS he was in distress.

    I’ll play defense attorney lol.

My client assumed Floyd was on opiates and out of his head. He was totally unaware of Floyd’s medical history. Mr Chauvin assumed Mr Floyd passed out from being under the influence but continued with the knee restraint in case he revived and became unmanageable.

    An ambulance was called.

Prosecutor: "Officer Chauvin told Mr. Floyd to get up and get in the cruiser while kneeling on him."

    Jury: "Like bruh?"

Getting fucked up by cops is a bit tough pressurewise. He knew cops like killing blacks. They killed him. I suspect having your air cut off for 9 minutes might be tough for continuing life.
Saying his heart gave out while he was being smothered is pure speculation based of right-wing excuse makers. Chauvin killed him. It is just that easy.

Why haven't we seen the cop's video where Floyd was fighting with them?

I have a rule of thumb that pretty much anything you say is prime grade bullshit, works for me.
