Really? The Greens used Fukushima to force Merkel to set up the Energiewende and shut down nuclear power stations. Because, let's be fair, 12 metre tsunamis are commonplace in the Baltic Sea!

The Energiewende has been an unmitigated disaster which is why the Germans started a crash program of building brown coal power stations and importing more gas from Russia.

Hey, the Germans are building like 25 new "clean coal" power plants to replace the nuclear ones because they can't meet their energy demands with wind and solar... and the Polish and French are not letting them steal their power any more!

"what interference" FB bots? like that makes any diff in a zillion dollar election.

Dems are reduced to "Russian interference* ( and you know we do this all the time and not just bots)
to save face from the unmitigated disaster of the Russian hoax.

Our grotesque INTEl is already warming up the Russian hoax again -because nothing triggers Americans like
    DA RUSSIANS!!

Wind and solar caused far too much instability which meant that the frequency would often stray from 50hz, cause brownouts/blackouts and necessitate load shedding. Sadly the lessons haven't been learnt and the US will discover the exact same thing themselves should they vote that buffoon Biden into power.

good lord. a transformer/ filters should have delivered stable output DC carrier voltage -
was it fluctuations in the power supply itself that made the delivery unreliable?

Not sure where DC comes into power transmission? Are you talking about wind turbines as they typically output AC not DC?

That's what happens when you let the German equivalents of AOC decide your energy policy.

DC is only ever really used for undersea interconnectors, otherwise it's always AC.
