"wary?" why do you care if the Russian Constitution is changed? that's not our call.

He's right, how can it be right to rely on a capricious and vengeful man like Putin for your energy supplies? That's just crazy, Europe now gets nearly 40% of its gas from Russia. Your fixation with Trump with Trump blinds you to the bigger picture, even CNN can see it!

"There is no question former President Trump bears moral responsibility. His supporters stormed the Capitol because of the unhinged falsehoods he shouted into the world’s largest megaphone," McConnell wrote. "His behavior during and after the chaos was also unconscionable, from attacking Vice President Mike Pence during the riot to praising the criminals after it ended."

dont be an ass. I always advocate realpolitik -and that means treating Russia like any other state.
Obama got a chance at a Russian reset, but the Obama IC made sure Trump got fucked by Russiaphobia instead

    FFS Tom.
Putin needs cash. Russia is a "glorified gas station" ( McCain).
Nations operate in their best interest. Russia's interest is selling thru Nordstream

What's the point here? If Merkel wants to do business with Russia and risk getting screwed over by Putin that's Germany's business, not trump's. If trump wants to do natural gas business with Germany then maybe he should stop scolding Merkel and be a little more conciliatory.

I'm "wary" because any leader who wants to extend his term of office almost indefinitely is a dictator in my book. It's my opinion and has nothing to do with interfering in other nations' affairs and everything to do with how trustworthy I think their leaders are.

Biden has not been in a position to call the shots. As a V-P he answered to Obama and as a senator he was on an equal footing with the other 99. He's never been a lone wolf running his own agenda.

TBT I haven't kept up on Libya since Qadaffi was killed. That was 2011, it's depressing to think they're still spiraling after nine years.
