Not even close. EU exports to the UK are a small part of the EU economy, while UK exports to the EU are a huge part of the UK market. The whole system of leaving the EU is setup to benefit the EU, because it was setup by the EU. The UK has to create hundreds of new complex trade treaties in a few months, but has no diplomatic staff to do it.

But even if the UK did hold a lot of cards, giving in to the UK is an existential threat to the EU. If they allow the UK free trade with the EU on the UK's terms, then they will have to allow everyone it. If they allow the UK to benefit from the EU without paying for it, then they will have to allow everyone it. The whole EU breaks down if the UK does not suffer. The EU is willing to suffer a lot in order to keep its dream alive.

The EU cannot allow the UK to be a free rider.

And there is a possible benefit for the EU in it all. The UK always benefited from being the bridge from the EU to the rest of the world. If EU countries become their own bridges, they cut out the middleman and become richer for it all. Meanwhile what is the UK a bridge to? Maybe to Wales? (No offense to Wales, but not exactly a world economic superpower).
