Nah, what's happening is that you're slowly coming to the realization that health insurance isn't health care, and that what you're really paying for is limited access while robbing you of true choice.

I would much rather choose my doctor, than choose my insurance company to choose my doctor...wouldn't you?

You're assertion that all of the people that are unemployed because of Trump's incompetence no longer have health insurance is correct

Are they taking your temperature, or is your doctor doing that?

Are they doing X-Rays, or is your radiologist doing that?

Are they filling a cavity, or is your dentist doing that?

Are they checking your prostate or performing a mammogram, or are your physicians doing that?

What is it that health insurance companies actually do when it comes to you receiving health care?

The answer is nothing. Absolutely nothing. You pay an insurance company for limited access. And that's something you want to defend? Why?

Hmm, thought it was YOU who were complaining.

This ruling is kind of amusing, actually. So we have these religionists who abhor abortion and want it banned. These same religionists also want the right to refuse to pay for contraceptives. Are you seeing the problem here?

Interesting, which have you had? I’ve had Blue Cross Blue Shield, Aetna, Cigna, Molina, and Mutual of Omaha. They have all dictated that I use in network Dr. and have denied care for things my Dr. has prescribed.

    not really,,,seems they are consistent,,,

I just wonder why you think the fascist route is more gooder than falling on the side of freedom and choice,,,

Well, I can't account for your personal anecdotes, but what I can account for is the state of the health insurance market.

You're not paying for health care when you pay your premiums, you're paying for access. And that access is limited to your provider network.

I'm not lying about anything. This is what health insurance is. This is what those companies do. They limit your choice. For someone who is "all about choice", you sure are bending the knee to an insurance company bureaucrat who dictates the options from which you can choose.

Doesn't it make sense to just pick a doctor instead of picking an insurance plan to pick a doctor?

There is not one single insurance plan out there that gives you unlimited provider choices. But a single payer would give you unlimited provider choices. Why do you oppose more choice?

    those are all semantics,,,

are you a fascist or a free person???

    1. Yes, your employer does get to decide what -- if any -- health care insurance you will be offered. Your employer can even choose what will or will not be covered.

    2. Your insurance company gets to decide what medications, treatments, diagnostics, surgeries, etc. you will receive. How do I know this? I'm a retired nurse who worked in managed care for the last three years of my career. We have huge manuals that list just about every illness, procedure, injury, PT, pharmaceuticals, medical devices, etc. and the indications and contraindications for their availability to physicians to prescribe. Example: You're playing hoops with your buddies and tear your right ACL. Before surgery will even be considered, most insurance companies will dictate that your orthopedist first prescribe medication, physical therapy, bracing, and other non-surgical remedies.

    3. Those of us with Medicare love it. Most of the vets I know who utilize the VA system are satisfied with it as well.
The VA system has the highest patient satisfaction rating of any insurance plan.

    Medicare is second

    Medicaid is third

    Then comes employer-sponsored plans
