Nah, what's happening is that you're slowly coming to the realization that health insurance isn't health care, and that what you're really paying for is limited access while robbing you of true choice.
I would much rather choose my doctor, than choose my insurance company to choose my doctor...wouldn't you?

Then by all means, tell me what health care your insurance company actually performs.
Are they taking your temperature, or is your doctor doing that?
Are they doing X-Rays, or is your radiologist doing that?
Are they filling a cavity, or is your dentist doing that?
Are they checking your prostate or performing a mammogram, or are your physicians doing that?
What is it that health insurance companies actually do when it comes to you receiving health care?
The answer is nothing. Absolutely nothing. You pay an insurance company for limited access. And that's something you want to defend? Why?

Well, I can't account for your personal anecdotes, but what I can account for is the state of the health insurance market.
You're not paying for health care when you pay your premiums, you're paying for access. And that access is limited to your provider network.
I'm not lying about anything. This is what health insurance is. This is what those companies do. They limit your choice. For someone who is "all about choice", you sure are bending the knee to an insurance company bureaucrat who dictates the options from which you can choose.
Doesn't it make sense to just pick a doctor instead of picking an insurance plan to pick a doctor?
