You said you've had the same "health care" for 30 years...but you don't say if it's the same health insurance. I think in your mind, health care and health insurance are interchangeable, but the reality is that they're not.
If you have an insurance plan, your "choice" is an illusion. It's a choice among providers your insurance company already chose to contract with. So you're making a choice from a corporation's choice, and you think that's freedom? How so? The freedom to pay a premium for limited access? How is that a sensible system?
Wouldn't you much rather have the choice to go to any doctor you want, and have unlimited access to all the doctors out there so you could find the best one for you?
It's like what I said about buying a car; you wouldn't buy the first car you saw at the first dealership you visited would you? You'd competitively shop. So why wouldn't you want the same for your health care?
Why is it so important to you who pays your doctor after they treat you???? I don't get it.
