False equivalence fallacy. A doctor's fees is not an insurance fee.
Your point is based on a false equivalence fallacy.
So?
No, he doesn't. I can go get the policy of my choice.
False equivalence.
What if the doctor you want to see isn't covered by the single payer plan?
You're still fucked.

Why can't you use a healthcare policy?
Why do you have to pay more for the same policy?
Inversion fallacy. You can buy the healthcare policy you want. You can use it when you want. You can go to any doctor you want, and even pay for it yourself if the healthcare policy doesn't cover that particular doctor. You can even go to some quack that you are convinced will cure you and pay him, though your insurance probably won't cover it.
This is freedom.
Single payer forces you to buy a policy that doesn't cover what you want.
That's called fascism, dude.
