Default Sacrifice Your Parents, Next Risk Your Kids. We Must Ignore COVID!

This is kind of hard to figure, coming from the Right-to-lifers.

First, we were supposed to accept that our parents and grandparents will have to 'take one for greater society,' so that the economy could surge forward with no shut-down.

Now, DT is issuing ultimatums to force schools to open up no matter how bad the pandemic, or he will pull funding.

A day after vowing to pressure state governors and educators to reopen schools this fall, President Trump went a step further on Wednesday, denouncing the Centers for Disease Control’s guidelines and threatening to withhold federal funding from schools that do not resume in-person classes in the coming months. Trump is the classic dictator. Don't do anything about a social problem. Just punish people who try to address it and solve the problem.

You're confusing that with social darwinism, the willful assistance to nature's cruelty

I can't imagine parents are ready to send their children to schools that they do not consider safe.

The problem is the 6' spacing. Schools are not large enough to maintain that CDC guideline.

So DT wants em to just blow it off.

More irony. Seven guys. Six strong but not too bright Trumptards, and a nerd. When Trump tells them all to jump off a cliff, the nerd will survive. Because he won't jump. Get it? The characteristic most beneficial in a pandemic is brains. I have them. You don't. Pretty simple.

Everybody wants their children to go back to school. That is not the issue.

The issue is when they go back to school!

In areas where the virus is still running out of control, the children should not go back to school- DONALD TRUMP SHOULD KNOW BETTER!

Understanding and accepting science does not equal "embracing" that science.

For example, the science indicates that we're destroying our planet right now - I support science and accept it, but I do not embrace that.

Besides - we have evolved to have advanced cognitive abilities. We can deal w/ this virus as a species in a much more positive way for life & livelihood - but our leaders choose not to.

Yep. Smart people act responsibly and decrease their risk of contracting the virus. Stupid people do not. It's classic natural selection.
