OJ got away with murder for $10M. That's $16.8M in today's dollars. Certainly Trump can avoid ever seeing the inside of a courtroom for 10 years by spending $50M or so. It's not payoff, just the system of lawyers: high-priced, experienced lawyers against relatively inexperienced government prosecutors and a legal system that favors the defendant....as it should be.

OH! She's excited because Trump is triggered? Yeah why is that a bad thing?

I think you are missing the point, sir. If Schiff calls Trump a liar, it's just Schiff treating Trump badly. If Schiff STFU and let's Trump do all the talking, Trump will prove himself a liar. Which do you think works best for Schiff? Work smarter, not harder.

Disagreed. Sailor is correct that Trump has a much stronger personality than Pelosi and Schiff. The problem for Trump is that he's his own worst enemy and both Pelosi and Schiff are smart enough to recognize that fact.

Well the JPP Trump supporters get excited every time Biden says something. I bet some of them have boxes of Kleenex ready.

Have you heard Schiff argue? Ofcourse you have. You never say "you are a liar" on crossX You ask questions and show they are a liar.
It's not that I don't get your point, but I'm debating Trump? I have facts at the ready, lay traps and make him an idiot.
Trump flat out lacks the competency to debate. Only morons think he debated well. He just lied asinine lies about walls, and Mexico
and immigrants and Ozzy and Harriet and bringing outdated jobs back and he had enough rubes that fell for that crap.
They wanted that to be true even though none of it can be true.

This 2017 article is illuminating on Trump's personality:

    https://www.politico.com/magazine/st...cotland-215779
...Nearly a year into his presidency, Trump’s behavior—as much as, or more than, any policy he’s advanced—stands as a subject of consternation, fascination and speculation. Psychology experts read and watch the news, and they have the same basic curiosity lots of people have: What makes somebody act the way he acts? None of them has evaluated Trump in an official, clinical capacity—Trump is pretty consistently anti-shrink—but they nonetheless have been assessing from afar, tracking back through his 71 years, searching for explanations for his belligerence and his impulsivity, his bottomless need for applause and his clockwork rage when he doesn’t get it, his failed marriages and his ill-tempered treatment of women who challenge him. And they always end up at the beginning. With his parents. Both of them. Trump might focus on his father, but the experts say the comparative scarcity of his discussion of his mother is itself telling.

“You don’t have to be Freud or Fellini to interpret this,” says Mark Smaller, the immediate past president of the American Psychoanalytic Association...

...This was in 1990. Donald Trump was divorcing his first wife, philandering with the model Marla Maples and floundering in hundreds of millions of dollars in debt, facing high-profile humiliation and ruin in his early 40s. Mary Trump, on the other hand, was approaching 80. Once a poor immigrant from the remote, desolate northwest corner of Scotland, and the product of the strict mores of the country’s Presbyterian Church, she had been married to the business-centric Fred Trump for more than half a century...Mary Trump asked Ivana Trump, her soon-to-be-ex-daughter-in-law, a pointed question. “What kind of son have I created?”
