They support 'Spirituality' (namely Judeo-Christian values) and hate 'Atheists' (like Communist China).
They can't be present in Christianity of any kind: they are extremely anti-Christian, like Trumpf and other Nazis.

So you see, it didn't stem from Christianity it stemmed from the self fabrication of Christianity to serve one's purpose. It's a big issue today and why you have so many fakes in name only, here in America.
Why ignore the fact it comes from Europe?

These excuses came from Southern Christians and their denomination of Christianity. I'm not sure but I do not believe these stances were accepted even in the same denominational counterparts of Europe.

History is a great teacher. As historians know, in order to understand how we got to a certain point (and even better, to get to a better place), it's important to understand where we came from.

This thread isn't about understanding, it's not about making things better. It's just about shitting on Southerners and Christians. That's it. Sad.

I'm a die-hard Christian just giving a history lesson. My posted link was an Evangelical Christian source, one of the most prominent denominations of Christianity in the south. A Christian doesn't hide from the sins of their ancestors. Unfortunately, some Christians did indeed try to use the Bible to excuse slavery. Hard to believe but it's sad but true.

Guess Katzgar's never heard of hypocrites in some churches.
Abortion rights dogma can obscure human reason & harden the human heart so much that the same person who feels
empathy for animal suffering can lack compassion for unborn children who experience lethal violence and excruciating
    pain in abortion.

Unborn animals are protected in their nesting places, humans are not. To abort something is to end something
which has begun. To abort life is to end it.

The article in the OP is pointing out that the Christian embracing of racism seems to be a Southern thing. After all, it was Christian abolitionists who helped free the slaves.

"The Traditionalists see democracy as decadence that can be redeemed by a new spiritual elite. Only they can return the world of modern progress to a world of ancient wisdom. Traditionalists hold that, against the heresy of liberal democracy, the sacred is found in a cosmic order of rigid social and racial hierarchy."

Sounds right up your alley, PMP.

"In Bannon’s view, the white working class of 1950s America, a prototype for Trump’s base, constitutes the elite. Emboldened by Trumpism, the base will rescue Western civilization from decline, beating back multiculturalism. Aryan Brahmans will rule again."

PMP. Are YOU an 'Aryan Brahma' ? (I think we already know the answer, don't we)

I understand and agree when the barbs are directed toward factual quotes of a specific religion/denomination. It's when those barbs expand toward all Southerners and all Christians that I point out the bullshit. Same for all Democrats and all Republicans.
