Their lives do not matter to them or u unless one is killed by a white cop!

Never seen u post about blacks being killed in Chicago etc

More get killed there in one month than are killed nation wide by white cops, but u and the left only bring up the small number

    Black lives DO MATTER

But so do whites lives..yet your side scream racist when that is said

I thought these protesters were "peaceful"? Why should ANY American flag be taken down, especially on the 4th. of July?

Arson on who's hands? The construction company for flying an American flag? It's time these violent protesters get a taste of lead.

Those who are violent are not protesters. Anyway, the site is going to be a new building for the lawmakers. That makes the government of VA the owner. The government contracted them.

Besides, isn't wanting to save the flag being counter to the narrative?

Why did the American flag need taken down?

Because they're worried about them destroying the site, the site owned by the government.

Anyway, did they ask people and business owners to take down their American flags?

Why should they be worried about them destroying the site? Because there's an American flag there to celebrate our Independence Day?
Since when can the government tell an American company to remove an American flag from any property?

That has nothing to do with them removing the flag there. Quit moving the goal posts, stay with the discussion at hand.

Because they are contracted. If you hire a contractor to build something for you, wouldn't you have the right to tell them what you want them to do to the site? They are paid to build a site for you.

How am I moving the goal posts? Many, many construction sites and properties, both business and private, have American flags. Do you see them ordering them to take them down?

It is a sad day in America when an American flag must be removed for fear of violent protests on our Independence Day.

Again, that has nothing to do with this discussion. Nothing at all.

Yes it is very, very sad. I'm not disagreeing. They shouldn't have to fear anything in America.

Again, that has nothing to do with this discussion. Nothing at all.
It has everything to do with the claim the OP made.

"A spokeswoman for the state Department of General Services said officials asked a contractor to take down the flag from a new office building for state lawmakers under construction in Richmond."

    Who contracted them?

    Also, what about this?

Which brings us back to the same question. Why was the company asked to remove the American flag in the first place.

Quit deflecting. The flag on any other building is irrelevant.

Actually I just thought about something... perhaps instead of ordering them to take down the flag, they should have ordered security and cops to guard the construction site.

Why was there a need to guard the site?

Because they own it? Because they don't want risks? Apparently you have no understanding of business.

    Here's a humorous comparison.

An hurricane is coming to a city. A man takes everything down and boards up his business.

Does that mean he is on the hurricane's side?

I ran a machine shop, I know a bit about running a business. Why does an American flag pose risks? Answer that question.
