Of COURSE it had a lab origin. Chinese scientists in Wuhan, China were bankrolled by billionaires such as George Soros, who absolutely HATES America, to come up with a virus that could be used as a bio-weapon AGAINST America. Once the scientists came up with COVID-19, AKA the Chinese Virus, AKA the Wu Flu, they leaked it into an unsuspecting public in Wuhan, China. Where the world's first cases of the virus were reported. This virus, insidious in design, being that many who contacted it and showed little or no signs of illness, was now very much alive in the city. And some of those infected traveled to the US, NOT knowing they WERE infected. This, of course, led to people being infected here in the US. And of course, some of those infected in China traveled to other countries and got the virus up and rolling there. I truly believe all of this WILL come to light. China needs to be held accountable for this bio-weapon.

If it's the same sequencing found naturally, or gene spliced - it still probably escaped from Wuhan Virology Institute
although sloppy sampling in the field could have sent it thru the wet markets.

Results of the research were published in November 2017 under the heading: 'Discovery of a rich gene pool of bat SARS-related coronaviruses provides new insights into the origin of SARS coronavirus.'

All sampling procedures were performed by veterinarians with approval from the Animal Ethics Committee of the Wuhan Institute of Virology.

'Bat samplings were conducted ten times from April 2011 to October 2015 at different seasons in their natural habitat at a single location (cave) in Kunming, Yunnan Province, China. Bats were trapped and faecal swab samples were collected.'

Another study, published in April 2018, was titled 'fatal swine acute diarrhoea syndrome caused by an HKU2-related coronavirus of bat origin' and described the research as such: 'Following a 2016 bat-related coronavirus outbreak on Chinese pig farms, bats were captured in a cave and samples were taken.

The exercise was summarised as: 'Bats in a cave in Yunnan, China were captured and sampled for coronaviruses used for lab experiments.

This is a bug that

1) was in a bat and then was in a pangolin that optimized for humans, which is very not likely.

or

2) was made in the lab...the sort of thing that we know that the lab was doing...and it got out.
